The experience of selling our house through Optimo was great from start to finish. Brian was very receptive, he listened, he was passionate about our property and he sincerely wanted to help us sell it and get the best value. I believe that if we hadn’t worked through Brian we probably would have accepted less than we got for the property. However, with Brian’s knowledge for the market he positioned the house beautifully for us, and we were able to get what we asked for . His advice was right on the button.
The quality of the presentation of the home on the website sold the property. The people who bought it commented particularly on the video walk through, and it was this that made them excited about coming to see the house. They were not disappointed, telling us that the comparison between the video and reality was very close.
Thanks to Optimo’s marketing through their website and on Trade Me, we were able to portray our house in the best possible light to get the best possible return for ourselves.
I was very pleasantly surprised by the fees that Optimo charged, which weren’t required to be paid until after the house was sold, or six months later if, by chance, it didn’t sell. By going with Optimo we saved around $20,000 in fees.
I really enjoyed the fact that through Optimo we only had serious buyers coming to look through the house, and we could choose whether we wanted to have people through in groups or individual parties, at times that suited us. We had total control of the whole process.
