Selling My Home on My Terms
When looking to sell our home recently I researched the market place to find that traditional Real Estate companies were going to charge more than $20,000 commission to sell our property. Having seen the Optimo brand around our neighbourhood I decided to investigate their service offering.
It was pleasing to find a website that was simple to navigate and gave me exactly the information that I required. I contacted Optimo, and within hours received a phone call from Bryan, the owner of Optimo, to discuss the nature of my enquiry.
I found Bryan excellent to deal with, very personable, and very understanding of the stress involved in selling a property.
Bryan presented a straightforward, no fuss process at a cost that was a fifth of the price of anything else, and the ability to manage the process from start to finish. I chose when people visited our home, I chose whether they came individually or in groups and I chose whether I wanted open homes or not.
I found the process both empowering and enjoyable.
The end result was that we didn’t attract the tyre kickers and the nosy neighbours, but we did attract five potential buyers, four of whom put in an offer, with the fifth one not doing so because they knew of the other four and felt that the home would sell quickly.
Our home did sell quickly, and that was due to the fact that Optimo knows the market place very well and priced our home at a price that we were delighted with, but also that potential buyers were attracted to.
Our lawyers handled the rest of the Optimo process with ease, and if I ever am in the market to sell again, I would certainly choose the Optimo way.
